STRUB Special grease BA-S-2

Description
STRUB Special Grease BA-S consists of a special blend of synthetic bases thickened with barium complex soap and additives to improve oxidation, corrosion, wear and load bearing resistance.

Application
STRUB Special Grease BA-S is specially designed for the lubrication of bearings and other mechanical components operating under high speeds, high loads and adverse environmental conditions. Some examples of applications are: High speed spindle bearings in textile, machine tool and woodworking machines, threaded spindles, small gears, etc.

• excellent friction and wear reduction for high speed bearings
• excellent protection against corrosion of metal parts and resistance to aqueous cleaners
• exceptional adhesion, which ensures protection of mechanisms under high loads and water presence
• due to high dropping point and special synthetic bases it is possible to work from -40 to +160°C, short term 200°C
• high resistance to aging, prevention of grease degradation during operation even with long
  relubrication intervals
• very good resistance to the action of most acid and alkaline aqueous solutions
