Description
STRUB Vulcomet Protection 8092-2 BF-DW is specially designed for the preservation of precision tools in storage, fabrication, warehousing and transportation.
Application
STRUB Vulcomet Protection 8092-2 BF-DW is applied by immersion. In order to reduce the evaporation of the solvent, the dipping baths should be covered. The drying time can be shortened by exposing the treated parts to 60 - 80°C in a heating cabinet/circulating air.
Features and advantages
- Thin-bodied, non-emulsifying corrosion protection oil with excellent water-displacing properties.
- After evaporation of the solvent, a thin, almost dry, non-slip protective film remains on the metal.
- The waxy protective film can be removed with petroleum, benzine, circulation cleaner, triperchloraethane or alkaline cleaners, such as STRUB Monafix Ecoclean 3000 or STRUB Monafix-TSpecial in aqueous dilution
