STRUB Trenasol KOS 821
Art.-No. 31471
Description
STRUB Trenasol KOS 821 is an environmentally friendly concrete release agent for absorbent and nonabsorbent formwork in precast plants as well as in building construction.
Application
Application on wood, steel and coated plastic coated formwork. Spray sparingly and evenly onto dry, clean formwork using a hand sprayer, or apply using stationary equipment. Flat spray nozzles with small nozzle diameters have proved particularly effective. Care must be taken that no contaminants get into the oil to avoid clogging of the nozzle. The spray pattern should be uniform and fine.
Release agent consumption:
For non-absorbent formwork approx. 30 - 60 m2 / lt.
With highly absorbent formwork approx. 50 - 100 m2 / lt.
Features and advantages
- biodegradable according to BODIS, test ISO 10708
- does not build up
- leaves pore-free surfaces (garages), which can be coated after stripping the formwork
- leaves clean, even concrete surfaces
- universal application, when void-free, sand-free surfaces have to be created
- plaster-adhesive coatings are not affected (note the drying time of the concrete)
- recommended also for exposed concrete
- pleasant to use (almost odorless). Nevertheless, the vapors should not be inhaled
