Description
No more diesel in road construction! The economical and ecological alternative is called: STRUB Tarag 450. Solvent-free, biodegradable blacktop release agent that can be diluted with water. STRUB Tarag 450 does not leave a greasy surface (risk of accidents) and does not dissolve the pavement as is the case with diesel or fuel oil.
- The product has been tested by the Swiss Association of Master Builders in Sursee and rated as very good.
- Furthermore, Consultest AG (Institute for Material Testing, Consulting and QA Assurance in
Construction) has measured a skid resistance (diluted 1 : 1 with water) of 96%, which is max. 40% with diesel oil. - No negative, disturbing phenomena occur with layer bonding or pavement markings.
Features and advantages
STRUB Tarag 450 is a universal wetting and release agent for road surfaces. It prevents the adhesion of surfaces that come into contact with the road surface. This results in a better surface quality of the pavement and enormous savings in cleaning.
STRUB Tarag 450 is used for:
- Paving machines and equipment
- Pneu and smooth rollers

- thermal troughs
- conveyor belts
- cleaning operations
- Laser: Simplifies work on rusted steel plates. Ceramic nozzles are not attacked.
STRUB Tarag 450 is supplied ready for use and can be diluted with water or applied directly. Application methods: spraying by means of a pressure vessel, brush, dipping, etc.
Effect
On a chemical-physical basis, a super thin release film is created that does not allow the road surface to adhere to steel, rubber, etc.
