STRUB Pipe Thread Sealant H1

Description
STRUB Pipe Thread Sealant H1 is a well adhering and spreadable paste with good corrosion protection properties (not corrosive according to EN-ISO 2160 on AL, Cu, Zn alloys, steel, zinc). Screwed threads can be easily undone later.
The products are NSF (H1) registered and certified by NSF according to ISO 21469 and approved for use where possible food contact may occur. Manufactured to the highest quality standards in facilities where HACCP has been implemented and forms an integral part of the ISO 9001 and ISO 21469 quality and hygiene management systems. In addition, the products are certified according to the strict guidelines according to Kosher and Halal.
Application
Non-hardening sealing paste in combination with hemp for plumbing, gas, heating, food area, sprinklers, drinking water systems, etc.
Features and advantages
- resistant to aging
- good oxidation stability even at high temperatures (pressure drop after 100h/ 50°C max. 0.2 bar)
- very good resistance to water
- insensitive to strong temperature fluctuations
- furthermore the paste is resistant to gases and gas condensates (not suitable for liquid gases)
- without restriction resistant to hydrocarbon gases (methane, acetylene, ethylene), hydrogen,
- nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water vapor, noble gases as well as diluted and gaseous ammonia
- Water hazard class 0
The paste is silicone-free and does not attack PE and PVC pipes (stress corrosion cracking).
