Description
STRUB Monafix FerroTex is an industrial cleaner with integrated corrosion protection. Especially for highpressure industrial washing systems in which the machining fluids such as cooling lubricants, cutting oils, punching oils, etc. must be removed from the workpieces. There is no need for rinsing and preservation after cleaning! Subsequently, depending on the degree of drying (do not pack with high residual moisture) and constant internal bearing temperature, the parts are protected against corrosion for at least 3 months. STRUB Monafix FerroTex is used with a concentration of approx. 3-5 % in water, depending on requirements.
Application
For all warm degreasing and cleaning types with preservation in one working step. Use in circulation cleaning baths, ultrasonic systems, high-pressure spraying systems and steam jet equipment with variable working pressure. It is mainly used for the cleaning of metals which must have surfaces free of grease, oil or stains with subsequent corrosion protection. Treated workpieces must not be exposed to moisture (rain, splash water, etc.), otherwise the corrosion protection film would be removed again! A sufficient drying time must be observed,
which depends on the cooling of the workpiece, outside temperature or hot air blower.
Features and advantages
- little foaming from 50°C (application temperature: 65°C), Caution: Foaming problems may occur with new filling (high-pressure systems) until the emulsion has formed. Add a little mineral oil or antifoam.

- Emulsified oil can be split off with HCl for disposal (pH: 4) then adjust waste water with NaOH to pH 6.5 to 9.0!
