STRUB Antifoam 52

Description
STRUB Antifoam No. 52 is a white, highly viscous defoamer specially adapted to Strub water-miscible cooling lubricants.
Application
STRUB Antifoam No. 52 is used temporarily for foam peaks (e.g. caused by the introduction of cleaning agents, tramp oils, etc.) in mineral oil-based and semi-synthetic water-miscible cooling lubricants. Depending on the foam quantity, 0.01 % to a maximum of 0.02 % is usually added in relation to the emulsion quantity. STRUB Antifoam No. 52 is easily dispersible in the emulsion. It should nevertheless be added at points of high fluctuation (e.g. emulsion return or suction pump).
In all standard emulsion maintenance equipment, STRUB Antifoam No. 52 is only filtered out in small masses. The product shows no undesirable properties in surface treatment.
