STRUB Additive CA 25

Description
STRUB Additive CA 25 is a "liquid" natural lime, biodegradable and non-hazardous.
Application
STRUB Additive CA 25 is used in water-miscible cooling emulsions where soft water can lead to foam. This is mostly the case in metalworking, CNC machines with internal cooling, where high, ultra-high pressure pumps are used.
Dosage
STRUB Additive CA 25 is added very slowly (in a very fine jet) to the well-circulating processing emulsion. During addition, the emulsion may become slightly whitish, which can be neglected and does not affect the performance of the processing emulsion. The ideal value of the total hardness in a Central European emulsion is about 20°dH.
Calculation example:
The starting point is 500 liters of foaming processing emulsion prepared with tap water and a total hardness of 4°dH:
15g STRUB Additive CA 25 per 100 liters of processing emulsion increase the hardness by 1°dH.
75g STRUB Additive CA 25 per 500 liters of processing emulsion increase the hardness by 1°dH.
To increase the processing emulsion by 16°dH (16 x 75g) 1200g of STRUB Additive CA 25 are required.
