Description
The tramp oil separator is made of stainless steel and steel sheet. The container, approx. 15 ltr. capacity, for separated tramp oil can be removed without tools.
The fluid surface is extracted via a skimmer. The skimmer is self-regulating and continuously adapts to the fluid surface and is attached to the coolant tank by means of a magnet. The extracted fluids are gently conveyed into a sedimentation tank.
The tramp oil separator is subject to low wear, as the extracted tramp oils and emulsions do not come into contact with rotating parts (e.g.: pumps). The liquid in the sedimentation tank flows back into the machine's coolant tank via an inclined plate filter. The inclined plate filter ensures optimum and continuous tramp oil discharge. At maximum level in the oil collection tank, the tramp oil separator switches off automatically.
