Description
AdBlue® is a high-purity 32.5% aqueous urea solution that is injected directly into the exhaust system where it acts as a reducing agent. Ammonia is released and then converts the nitrogen oxides on the catalytic converter into atmospheric nitrogen and water vapor. Both are natural components of the air we breathe. The proportion of nitrogen oxides in exhaust gases is reduced by over 85% in this way.

Application
AdBlue® is used as a NOx reducing agent for SCR (Selective Catalitic Reduction) exhaust gas aftertreatment of commercial vehicles and passenger cars, Euro 4 to Euro 6.

• Reduction of the emission of toxic nitrogen oxides, exhaust gas reduction over 85%.
• no hazardous material in the sense of the chemical law
• no influence on maintenance and oil change intervals

Note / Storage
The storage period is limited and should be at least 12 months under normal storage conditions (<25°C). Containers with AdBlue® must not be exposed to direct sunlight; and must not be stored above 30°C for extended periods. AdBlue® freezes at temperatures <-11°C, but can be thawed again.
